Sous Chef - Bath - £35,000 - All overtime paid!!! Key Info: £35,000 = £17.00 per hour, contracted to 40 hours so any hours over this is paid overtime!! Due to location own transport is essential Our client is a boutique hotel set in the countryside on the outskirts of Bath, and they are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef. This role would suit a Sous Chef who is creative and likes to use fresh local produce and most ingredients are sourced from the local area or actually on site. Role Overview: As the Sous Chef you will report directly to the Head Chef and fill their position when absent. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting the food as well as designing new dishes that can be offered to the customers. Part of your role will be to train and develop the skills of the other chefs within the kitchen and supervise them when necessary. You will actively be involved in ordering, storing the food produce, and ensuring that the potential profitability is maximized whilst maintaining customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will also need to be confident, self-motivated, driven, and be able to hit the ground running.
