Join BlueArrow as a Kitchen Porter for 12 weeks with weekly pay, before transitioning to a permanent contract with competitive pay and great benefits.

IMMEDIATE START

£12.60 per hour - paid weekly for 12 weeks.

Full-time - 37.5 hours per week.

Part-time options - 18.75-hour contracts available with long-term opportunities.

Monday to Friday (Hours TBC between 0730 - 15:30, occasional early finish on Fridays.)

The Role:

• Assisting with basic food preparation.
• Maintaining a clean, organised work space and equipment.
• Sharing all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant, if required.
• Basic food preparation.
• Stock control, replenishment and participating in the cleaning rota.
• Removing waste from waste containers and disposing of them in the correct external bins.
• Assisting with deliveries and organising them in the correct storage areas.
• Supporting the kitchen and FOH team where possible.

Who we're looking for:

• Professionals & excellent collaborators, with a flexible approach to duties.
• Use your initiative & maintain a proactive attitude during on-the-job training.
• Be able to remain calm under pressure.
• Good communication skills.
• A sense of humour.
• Previous catering experience is essential.
• Food Hygiene Level 1 essential and can be acquired for free through us.
• An Enhanced Check is required for this role. We will assist in obtaining this through the client when you transition permanently.
