DBS Chef

We are currently recruiting for the position of a temporary Counterbalance driver for client based in Rochester. Main tasks and responsibilities but not exclusively are as follows: * Working with the Site Supervisor to plan and undertake operational tasks on the site including the receipt, testing, off-loading, storage, treatment and recording of various wastes including oil and packaged wastes. * Ensure that work is carried out safely and efficiently. * Ensure the operations are compliant with the various site operating procedures, permits and authorisations. * Ensure that wastes are only stored in the correct areas and in accordance with site operational procedures and permitted activities. * To work closely with the Site Supervisor to prepare outputs from the site. * To record and relay site information as required including loads in and out and stock levels. * To complete all paperwork in accordance with company processes and legal requirements. * To work with other colleagues at Kingsnorth and within the wider Slicker group to aid the smooth operation of the site. Essential skills and experience * Experience of working in a similar environment is essential * Good Health &amp; Safety awareness and appreciation * Good communication and maths skills * FLT Licence is essential The successful candidate will have the ability to demonstrate, understand and apply our workplace values.
