Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and a proven track record in managing kitchen operations.

As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management to ensure the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement creative and nutritious menus that cater to the diverse needs of our clients.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Lead by example and foster a CAN DO attitude within the team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a business and industry setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent culinary skills with a focus on quality and innovation.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Certifications/Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent certification.

  • Food Safety and Hygiene Certification.
