Temporary Material Handler (Kitting) - 4 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler with kitting experience to join a dynamic team in RG7 on a temporary basis for 4 weeks. This role is perfect for someone with a background in materials handling, inventory management, and production support who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:
* Location: RG7, Reading
* Contract Type: Temporary (4 weeks)
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
* Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Order Fulfilment & Kitting:
* Work closely with production teams to understand schedules and ensure stock availability.
* Pick and prepare materials to create accurate production kits.
* Support uninterrupted production by ensuring timely kit preparation.
Stock & Inventory Management:
* Maintain accurate records of stock movements and transfers.
* Receive, check, and store returned inventory, ensuring all items are accounted for and undamaged.
* Identify and resolve stock discrepancies.
General Material Handling:
* Ensure safe and efficient storage, handling, and transportation of materials.
* Always follow company processes and health & safety procedures.

What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in material handling and kitting within a production or warehouse setting.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing stock.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
* A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
