Site Manager

Blue Arrow have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join their busy team based in Aberdeen on a temporary basis.

During this role you will be supervising the projects that are currently underway. You will also meet the demands of production, profitability, safety, quality and to manage all sub-contractors to ensure that pre-set completion targets are met. The successful candidate will also promote a positive working relationship between the project team and the client representatives.

Duties will include:
* Liaise with the company's Project Quantity Surveyor. Manage customer, clients and design team.
* Develop Method Statements and Risk Assessments together with the Safety Plan and to observe the requirement of the CDM Regulations in the status of Principle Contractor
* Provide Leadership and support to Site Supervisors, management Trainees, and support staff
* Source labour and maintain high productivity
* Expedite materials and information release from the design team
* Day to day planning of operations and problem solving
* Check and correct time sheets and allocation sheets
* Comply with the requirement of the company's Quality Procedure, Monitoring, Implementing & Recording
* Attend meetings as required at the site and area offices
* Prepare reports for site meetings with the design team
* Report contractual risk situations to your manager
* Supervise the quality of the work and hand over a snag free building
* All other duties as assigned to effectively carry out your role.

Requirements:
* Previous supervisory experience in the construction industry
* Effective communication skills
* Health & Safety Awareness
* Valid white or black CSCS card
* SMSTS
* First Aid at work
* Healthcare/NHS experience
