Job Role: Forklift Truck Driver with warehouse duties
Location: Culcavy, Lisburn
Pay rate: £12.49 per hour
Shfit pattern: Shifts: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Hours: Start times from 6am, finish times up to 8pm
Your Role:
We are excited to open this opportunity for Forklift Truck Drivers with warehouse duties to work for our internationally renowned logistics client in the BT26 post code area. These roles will appeal to an individual who loves working in a fast-paced team.
Your Responsibilities:
Your duties will include assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock, sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves, collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup. Based in Culcavy, own transport preferable due to location of site.
You will have:
* Previous warehouse experience
* Valid Forklift Truck licence
* Knowledge of order picking processes
* Manual handling skills - this is a physically demanding role, you need to have the ability to regularly lift and move goods up to 25kg
* Awareness of Health & Safety practices in the workplace
* Good level of verbal and written communication skills in English
* High level of accuracy, striving for 100% accuracy and maximum productivity in all tasks
* Flexibility and reliability (attendance at work) is essential
* Excellent team working skills along with the ability to work independently
* Great work ethic
