Job Role - Head Chef
Location: Middlesex
Hours: 45 hours a week
Salary: £40,000
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our members and guests.
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation, and managing a team to create a harmonious and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food safety.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
Maintain high standards of quality and presentation in food preparation and cooking processes.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
Train and motivate kitchen staff to enhance their skills and foster a positive team culture.
Collaborate with clubhouse staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
Assist in the development of special events or catering menus as required.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head Chef.
Strong team management skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Exceptional organisational skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
A culinary qualification or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
