HR Advisor (Employee Relations) Salary: Based on £30,000 per annum Location: On-site, PL2 postcode area Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs a week Contract: Temporary, 5 months KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: As an adviser you will be the main point of contact for employees, holding individual consultation meetings relating to contract restructuring activities. You will provide a professional and compassionate consultation experience for impacted employees and manage end-to-end and timely closure of consultations, utilising the ER Admin and escalating concerns to the ER Case Manager. This will involve working with a high volume of consultation meetings in a busy, complex and fast paced unionised environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - The Advisors are required to capture and track all requests &amp; queries raised in the consultation meetings and manage re-assignment of queries to the ER Case Manager as required to provide effective case management. - Ensure all activities are accurately logged on the People Services case management system, updated regularly and documents stored in employee files as required. - Work with sensitive data in line with data protection legislation. - Demonstrate a high level of empathy and patience using the customer first approach. - Use defined procedures, knowledge base and policies when providing service to the employee/partner. Follow through on commitments and take responsibility to achieve results. KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: - Numerate and literate, with GCSE`s in Maths and English grade A-C or equivalent. - Must be able to demonstrate experience in Employee relations within a Customer Service Environment. - CIPD is desirable but not essential. - Have excellent communication skills, be flexible and friendly, with a high level of self-motivation &amp; initiative. - Required to manage time effectively in order to complete heavy workload and meet deadlines. - Proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. - Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Be able to work in a high-pressure environment, - Ability to hold SC security clearance is essential. We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Manager to join our busy team at a large family pub and restaurant.This role would suit someone with previous experience of managing in a fast-food restaurant due to the fast-paced nature of service. You will be running a Fast-Food Kiosk serving a variety of food; from burgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, chips etc, to ice cream - including soft serve, donuts, waffles, hot and cold drinks etc. You will be managing team of around 30 staff, writing rotas, controlling staff costs, serving customers and ensuring the smooth running of this busy operation.This is a full-time permanent position and although business can be weather dependent you can save up pay from overtime to be paid out when quieter and during the low season can continue to work full time in the pub.You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days including evenings and weekends.
