Transport Administrator

Blue Arrow are recruiting for an experienced Transport Administrator in the East Leake area. Our client is one of the leading logistics and warehousing companies in the UK.

£12.31 ph
Hours: Mon to Fri - 2pm - 10pm
Location: East Leake
Contract: Temporary

Job Duties
* Provide administrative support to the management team and supply information required within agreed time scales that can support the recommendations and objectives of the unit.

* Complete administrative tasks as required, accurately and within agreed timescales

* Support and adhere to processes, procedures and requirements (e.g. Audit requirements, Health & Safety, HR processes etc.) to minimise financial, reputational and operational risks/costs

* Provide professional, friendly and efficient service to all customers by actioning enquiries and ensuring that appropriate customer service standards are maintained

* Monitor, organise and control day to day Administration within the Team

About you
* Evidence of Administrative experience in a transport environment.

* Experience of Working Accurately with numbers, consignment notes and other paperwork where close attention to detail is paramount

* Basic health and safety knowledge / experience
* Evidence of experience in understanding, investigating and solving customer service issues and escalating where appropriate

* Experience of managing conflicting priorities in a fast moving environment
