We aWe are looking for an HGV Mechanic for our client based in Bideford.

Days of Work: Monday to Friday
Hourly Pay Rate: £13.93 to £14.91
Hours of Work: 07.00 - 16.00
Start Date: ASAP

What you will be doing
To provide a vehicle maintenance and repair service for the client's vehicle fleet (approximately 45 - 50 vehicles).
To maintain all vehicles to a level suitable to comply with current legislation and to maintain those vehicles at that level, in the workshop or on site.
To service all vehicles within the fleet.
To prepare all vehicles for MOT inspection.
Work to strict deadlines in relation to service and health & safety inspection.

What you need to apply for this role
Qualified to Motor Vehicle Level 2, ie City & Guilds
Must have a full UK HGV driving licence
Completion of 35 hours Drivers CPC Training
An understanding of HGV vehicles servicing/MOT preparation
An understanding of driver's hours and defect reporting/recording
